Sangiti School

Sangiti Secondary School is a private Catholic school in the city of Moshi, near Mount Kilimanjaro. FoTZC began working with Sangiti via Growth Through Learning, a Massachusetts-based organization which provides scholarships to secondary school girls in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. Growth Through Learning, which had more scholarship recipients at Sangiti than at any other school in East Africa, inspired FoTZC to build three classrooms at the school. Sangiti is a growing, well-organized institution that has started a tradition of academic excellence.
