Give the Gift of Health and Clean Water:

The Sukenya Dispensary, built by FoTZC in 2015, was so successful that local residents and the Tanzanian government asked FoTZC to build an expanded Health Center. Currently the maternity ward is under construction and will provide vital services to pregnant women and their children. The next projects are the addition of a surgical suite, medical staff housing, laboratory, and additional boreholes. This new Health Center will expand and provide essential care to the villagers of Sukenya and the surrounding communities.

Give the Gift of Education:

FoTZC has been partnering with Tanzanian communities since 1997 to improve local schools. New classrooms are built to alleviate overcrowding. Sanitary toilets, boreholes and on-site housing for students and teachers keep everyone healthy and safe. Working with these communities to create safer and healthier schools brings the opportunity of a better future to many Tanzanian children.

Give the Gift of Women’s Empowerment:

In rural Tanzania’s highly patriarchal culture, women often lack the education that would help them launch their own businesses. The Community Conservation Banking (COCOBA) program assists with the skills needed to start their own ventures by providing the necessary resources for micro-loans, entrepreneurship training and business guidance. The program is building stronger and healthier futures for over 330 women and their families.

Give a Gift to Honor the Memory of Christopher P. Halloran:

FoTZC initially built a classroom and two teachers’ houses at Orkuyene. This project was expanded through the Christopher P. Halloran Memorial Fund, which has provided a new kitchen and a comfortable eating space for students. The campus needs dormitories, more classrooms and teacher housing. These improvements will provide the opportunity for over 781 students to safely continue their education.

Give the Gift of Opportunity

FoTZC works to overcome economic and social challenges in Tanzania by partnering with local communities to support education, health care, women’s empowerment and other sustainable community development initiatives. Your support will provide opportunity and promise to our Tanzanian partner communities.
