Focus on Tanzanian Communities (FOTZC) partners with village leaders, Maasai elders, local educators and government officials to prioritize and complete sustainable projects that benefit Tanzanians in rural villages along the Serengeti.
Since 1997, FOTZC has built 76 spacious classrooms, housing for 52 teachers, 8 student dormitories and 14 boreholes in 23 villages across the region. FOTZC has partnered with the Tanzanian government to build a regional health center, and we continue to sponsor a program that teaches these rural women how to start and maintain a successful business.
This year your support has expanded educational opportunities, empowered women to earn income for their families, and made extensive health care available to thousands of people in our communities.

Our partner communities are located near Thomson Safaris travel routes, allowing donors and guests to visit our projects and see how these sustainable projects are enhancing the lives of Tanzanians. This video explains FOTZC's impact in the areas of education, health, water and women’s empowerment – thanks to you and other FOTZC supporters.
